Tom Laird began his career as a union carpenter. After five years in the field, he returned to school to obtain his degree in construction management and engineering from Purdue University. During the past 20 years, Tom has specifically worked as an estimator and project manager in general and restoration contracting, specializing in exterior masonry and concrete restoration.
Previously, Mr. Laird was employed for 14 years as a project manager for two large and prominent general and specialty restoration contractors in Chicago. During his tenure, he was responsible for the restoration and renovation of numerous projects in excess of 80 million dollars. His primary focus was on projects specializing in general contracting services, including the repair of exterior façades, structural garage and plaza deck renovations.
